Temple, Texas is home to a Christian alcohol treatment center that features a standard 12-step recovery program for alcoholics. Broadly affordable, Christian Farms - Treehouse, Inc. is a residential faith-based center that requires it's new patients to be sober for a period of 72 hours prior to admission. This Christian alcohol treatment center provides separate facilities for men and women and also provides an on-site child care center.

Christian Farms - Treehouse, Inc. is a non-profit Christian alcohol treatment center that is governed by a volunteer board of directors. The goal for their recovery program is focused on preventing patients from returning to a life of alcohol by assisting them in developing control over their urges to drink. In addition, this Christian alcohol treatment center attempts to work with each patient in health improvements and social functioning without the need for alcohol.

This Christian alcohol treatment center offers residential care ranging from 30 days to six months. In order to gain admission, patients must be 18 years of age or older, medically stable and have a primary diagnosis of alcohol dependency and/or abuse in order to be enrolled in the alcohol recovery program. The cost of treatment is $125.00 per day, per adult. The screening process includes an in-person or telephone interview, which is available during normal business hours. Upon acceptance, new patients will be required to provide documentation relating to a medical/physical exam, birth certificate, TB test results within the previous 12 months, a social security card and driver's license or other state issued identification card.

During a patient's residential stay at this Christian alcohol treatment center, they are permitted to bring certain items. These items include a phone card, clothing and shoes, personal linens, a pillow, a Bible and certain other reading material. Items that are prohibited from being brought onto the grounds of Christian Farms - Treehouse, Inc. include weapons of any kind, computers, cellular phones, cameras, alcohol, videos, radios, cassette players, tapes or CD players and any apparel that glamorizes any type of negative addiction or phrase. Prescription medications may be brought, but will be retained by the staff and administered according to regulations.
